I thought I’d share a positive post for once! Having had a run of awful runs, I think I’ve finally got my mojo back.
The last two runs have been fabulous and I’ve had runners high again (thought that was a thing of the past).
I run a solid 5k yesterday, not my best time but felt good then today did a quick NRC 22min fartlek - it was really hard but felt amazing at the end. I finished with a 5 min warm down walk to the Bee Gees and had to literally stop myself from dancing 🙌

Fabulous! I find my runner’s high stays with me if I run three 30 min runs per week, so rather shorter runs for me. So I’m prioritising these now before reaching for longer runs again (70 to 120min).
I’m ultra slow, so those times mean I keep to 5k or less.
