Well after my first HM on Saturday

I wasn't sure when to try my first run out..

I read a lot of posts on here of how many rest days was sensible..but everyone is so different.. so I decided just to listen to my own body 😊

On the Saturday afternoon after my HM I felt surprisingly good no notable soreness, yes a bit achy,so decided after a nutritious lunch,I went out for a slow walk.. I'm sure this helped stopped my legs seizing up πŸ‘

On the Sunday I had a rest day and just binge watched the handmaid's tale πŸ‘

Monday I done my usual workout but on the half hour treadmill speed walk I felt some lower back ache so I cut the time and moved onto my weights..

Tuesday I decided to try my usual workout again and all was well πŸ™‚

In the afternoon I went to visit my son who's recently moved to Chester,

What a lovely town centre that is..we went for lunch and he treated me to a lovely bracelet for my upcoming 55th😳

And I treated myself to some new running kit, two new sports bras and some leggings πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

πŸ’– I had such a lovely afternoon πŸ’–

So this morning I was itching to get back out.. I was sencible and thought a slow 5K would let me know how recovered I was or not 😊

Felt really good.. started off caucious and slower, but felt good and ran negative splits πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ‘πŸ‘

So I think I'm fine to get back to my normal and hoping I can run a 10K on Friday 😁

Thanks for all your congratulations on my HM at the weekend I really enjoyed them πŸ™

Happy Running all πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸŒŸ
