The toxic 10 was really tough going today and for the first couple of kms I didn’t think I was going to have a great run but all that running in the heatwave has clearly paid off now it’s a bit cooler as I got a new PB today (well, a new post-40 one!) - 5km exactly in 35:16 at a pace of 7:03/km, very pleased!

Great going! Perhaps you'll be thinking of doing a parkrun in a few months.
Thank you! I enjoy my solo running but perhaps, everyone I know who does it raves about it but once I’ve finished the programme I’m planning to keep Saturday mornings for my longer runs as that fits best with life for me but let’s see! I’d love to get my 5km time back where it used to be (about 28 mins) but I think that’s a very long way off at the moment!
