I went out before work for a 25 minute run, and decided the late sunrise was too pretty not to watch. So, today, for the first time ever (!) I ventured out onto the beach - so pretty but so difficult Whilst I really don't like getting up so early, I really love it when I'm actually running and the roads and everything are empty! It was definitely nicer walking into the office knowing I'd already done some exercise and gotten out.
Today I also had an ultrasound on my calf, to try and figure out what is wrong with me - my physio wanted to see something wrong with my muscle, to rule out something more sinister - but apparently I have no tendon / muscle injury. This was the only time I wanted them to find something wrong! I have another appointment only in August - so for now, unless something changes, I'll just keep going slowly increasing my mileage on a weekly basis, and hope for the best

That’s good news there isn’t any tendon or muscle injury. But not having a diagnosis must be pretty frustrating for you. Fingers crossed they’ll be able to find out more …🤞
Beach running is very hard so be careful with your calf but I’m sure the sunrise was stunning 😍
Well done! I can't run on the beach here, it's a shingle beach 😱 I hope they find out what the problem is soon. It's so worrying when they can't get to the problem quickly but do always keep in mind that it's more likely than not to *not* be something sinister 🍀
Ooh no shingles would not be it! Ahh I really hope so my mind keeps overthinking to the 'awful and very bad issue' but yes realistically I hope its something small!
