Up and out early this morning,

My little granddaughter is arriving at 9:30am and it's going to be a really hot day , so set out at 6am

Beautiful morning although quite warm already☀️

Took my usual 5Kk route around the lake it's so lovely early morning, was nice and quiet which I like 😁

First K is uphill but I pushed from the beginning.. felt I was going pretty fast (for me) but when I was thinking I can't keep the pace .. I thought dig deep keep going.. it felt hard I was breathing heavier.. but onto the downhill last K and yippee a PB by more than a minute 👏🏃‍♀️💪🙌

Right off to get organized for my little hurricane's arrival 😍🤗

Ooooh pack wisely! You’ll be brilliant, I just know it! I was going to have a long run this morning but the heat kept me awake so I’ll try and do it tomorrow instead - we can both run in the heat at the same time 😆.
