I thought it was going to be really cold this morning so put on long leggings, mid weight base layer and micro fleece and took my gloves and bobble hat. 7 degrees! Hat and gloves stayed in the car and fleece came off after lap 1! But, donβt know if Dry January is to blame, 5k time 31.59 (first time ever below 32 mins πππ) and official time 32.25, which is ONE MINUTE AND FIFTEEN SECONDS faster than my last PB and 1 min 26 secs faster than last week. 338th out of 510 and 6th out of 12 in my age! 30 minutes I am coming after you πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
New Year, new parkrun PB π₯: I thought it was... - Bridge to 10K

Sub-30, be very afraid! Sooooo well done Sandie! πππ
Thanks Cheeky! I wasnβt expecting that. I went out yesterday with hubby, as he wanted to restart his C25k journey, having been out for a month with a bad back, so did W3 R1, which was a gentle jog, but I still donβt risk going on consecutive days. When Strava said 3km in 18 minutes something, my competitive streak overtook me and I thought maybe I could do it. So elatedππ
Fantastic π
Wooh hooo! Go Sandie Go! π€©π€©π€©! Thatβs a brilliant time!! Well done on your PB! π€β€οΈ
