Here I am!!

Hi everyone I’m ‘back in the room’!!!

During lockdown I took to walking with my dogs!

However I did my first race in 2019 after qualifying and immediately signed up for the following year!

So I get an email couple months ago that I’m rolled over to 8/7/21!

I think ‘oh yea that may not happen’ ( due to the C word)

However I dug out my running shoes and it all came back to me and this Sammy snail did it!!!!! Slowly but surely on a muddy trail but in the sunshine ! Fantastic race came 175/188 and my mojo is mow back!!! So what’s next… watch this space!!

Wooohooo!!! Great stuff!!!! I did my first ever race earlier this year (virtual race, but still a race). And me, the ultra-slow queen of the Japanese slow jog came second to last! 🤣🤣🤣 But wow, was that fun, and my first 10k as well!

So brilliant achievement and hope to see you around this crowd. (There is also a Strength & Flex forum on HU run by the same runner’s crowd and me, that you might be interested in)

Thank you CBDB - and we’ll done you! My second race was a 10K and I started last and came last but ran all the way - back in 2019 !
