Another stunning walk, steps rough ones up and up but well worth the climb,

Great walk for you today W&S, the weather is good for walking, lovely photo, this morning after yesterday's 10K run I walked 4K with my Thursday morning walking group of which one of them is running run 3 of week 8 of C25K tomorrow morning, I will be running along with him. 😊 🏃🏾

That is radically different scenery to what we’re used to, isn’t it? What a great picture 👍

Thanks and yes it it, it was 2.6k up and steep crumbly steps, i was puffed out going up and terrified coming down but proud to have been able to do it In this photo you can see how high we went

You deserve to be proud, it looks like you need to be part mountain goat to go up there. 🐐

Almost, people passed us and then we passed them as they stopped to catch their breath, i didn’t bring trail shoes which would have helped me feel safer though

It’s so beautiful every way you look, loved the climb and felt really happy once back on fairly level ground

One of my favourite places. If you’re still in the area, the roads and grass around Malham Tarn is a lovely 6km run. Enjoy 🌞

Love Malham Cove! My dad wants his ashes scattering from the top when the time comes. Hope you managed to get to Gordale Scar too

Hopefully not for a few more years (he’s 85)

Looks like a fantastic place to have a walk (or climb)!

I bet the walking was easier than it would have been had you not been doing all your running WaS! It sounds as though you’ve had a great time, have a good journey home!

Thank you we are nearly home, I know for sure I wouldn’t have made it to the top or had the balance to get back down again before we started running and willows lungs wouldn’t have got him up there, 400 rough gravelly steps
