🎶 ☀️Wake up , it’s a beautiful morning ☀️🎶

I seem to be waking earlier and earlier these days 🤷🏼‍♀️, no alarm clock ⏰ required , norm being 5/5:30 with the odd morning at 4:30 🥱😩 , I usually pay for it later in the day/evening as I yawn my way through until bedtime

Today I woke at six to blue skies, blue sea and the wildflower field in front of the house just gently swaying in a light breeze . Thoughts of a run begin to form 😄

I tend to spend at least half an hour on such mornings just watching the seagulls and oystercatchers fly past and the early morning dog walkers making their way down the Green to the coastal path.

I got my kit on, stretches done and ‘joy of joys’ found all the tech stuff actually fully charged and ready to go 😂😂📱⌚️🎧

A quick 20 minute outing was what I had in mind and I ran through some very quiet streets onto the lighthouse road and back.

I found it a little tough today and was glad to find my twenty minutes was a 3K and left me a little way from home . When I finished I had a pleasant walk before running an additional 1K home.

I think I found it a bit of a slog due to a new faster pace coming through which isn’t quite my ‘happy pace’ but seems what my legs want to do. I think this 3K came in at least two minutes faster than previous 3K’s to my surprise 🤷🏼‍♀️😊🙏

Need to work on it 😂😂🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🥵🥵

All in all a lovely way to start my day , got home did my stretches , coffee in my ‘morning sun spot’ in the garden and then showered. ……. Magic 😃✨

Ooh what a lovely view from your window RacingintheStreet. Early morning runs are great, and when summer comes back, a great way of avoiding the burning sun.

Thank you, I’m lucky with that view 🙂Some mornings it gets me up and some mornings I just prop myself up with coffee and watch it 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

We have been lucky up here last wee while , bit of drizzle today but mostly sunn6 and warm . I’ve not had much experience with summer runs but suspect I’ll try and avoid the heat 🌞

Thanks , I love my window , some days the view propels me up and out, and some mornings it propels to the kitchen and back for ☕️☕️😂I think I was trying to ‘take the brake off and see’. I think there’s a new ‘happy pace’ in there that needs a little refinement , was just a bit 🥵

Thanks, I love my window but I’m sure they’ll build houses on the field at some point 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️😂I did enjoy opening up the throttle and seeing what I could do but maybe just a little 🥵 .

I think I’m getting better/stronger legs 😂🤣🏃🏻‍♀️ Just to need to find the balance .

Oystercatchers and wild geese I often find almost overwhelmingly evocative .🙏
