First venture out….

Hello everyone and thank you so much for all my ‘Happy new shoe’ wishes! They are as lovely on as they are off!! I took them for a short speed workout on Monday but, things had happened over the weekend and I just wasn’t feeling it at all so their maiden voyage wasn’t all that great…but that was down to the user and not the beautiful shoes….

So I’ve managed to wait until today, without squeezing a sneaky one in yesterday, and taken them out again this morning…well, they were as perfect as ever…when I’d finished my run I knew that I’d made the right choice, I love them 😍…it was steaming hot this morning, even at 9am & I had one of those ‘I’m that red I can probably be seen from space’ runs….the shade under the bridges was a very brief relief from the heat of the sun and there was some intermittent natural coolness under the trees now and again…I took it slow and steady, as ever…I was overtaken by a bloke older than me but he had daddy long legs so I wouldn’t have stood a chance at keeping up with him, I was enjoying the scenery and my beautiful new shoes too much anyway!!!

Hope you’re all enjoying this gorgeous sunshine, thunderstorms predicted for tonight so I suppose I could’ve waited till later but I’m not muckying my shoes! No way!

Great new shoes then! I turn bright red from any run, even when it's cool! That's why I hide under a hat. I literally look like it's my first time running everytime 😂 nice cool looking picture!

Me too! I always comfort myself with thinking that the people I'm passing don't know that I haven't already run 10 miles - in reality I only started about 2 mins ago, but they don't know that 😂

AHH so great to hear you are enjoying your lovely new shoes, and you had a good run in them 👏👏👏I actually had to take mine back for exchange this afternoon, I had ran a couple of longer runs this week but they were pintching my big toes a bit,

The shop staff were very helpful and exchanged for another half size up no bother at all 🙏

Think Friday might be the next chance I have to try them out though.

But anyway... Keep enjoying your runs in your new trainer's 🥰
