On to my fourth pair of Hoka Aharis now, perfect for the “fuller figure” with overpronation.
Recently I have experienced shin splints on my runs and found out that dead soles is a frequent cause. So, out with the new shoes and they make all the difference.
I bought them at the beginning of the year when we had all those customs hold ups, and they’ve remained in the box since. Such self control! But now they’ve had their first 10 km outing.

Strangely enough, I’m having the same problem. Started running last July and never had shin splints. Currently wearing Brookes vapour 4. I’m going to Newcastle on Saturday where I’m hoping to get a new pair. I over pronate too. Maybe the shop will have the shoes you have chosen 🤞🏻
