The river track is narrow, dry, hard and lumpy, so we ran very slow and because it was after a busy day at work we ran for 30 minutes or a bit less, 2.90k of sunshine, beautiful fields of green, sky and river of blue, I feel loads happier than when I arrived home from work, just proves running is good for our mood.
The tide is quite a way out and there were even some people playing and swimming in the river.
Happy weekend all
Won’t let me upload a photo but trust me it’s beautiful out

I’ve committed to 10 minutes a day starting Monday and I think quite a bit of that will be walking but it’s great to get out after work, it makes it feel like i’ve done something
Good run for you today W&S, you describe it very well, you are not the only person who tried to upload a photo with their post, there was another person earlier and I tried to upload evidence of my second London Vitality Virtual 10,000 to Healthunlocked so everyone saw my time, luckily at least the photo and time evidence of that run did upload to the Vitality 10,000 Website.
Your description conjures up a lovely picture. What a wonderful place to run after a busy day at work. No wonder it lifted your spirits.
A lovely run to lift your mood! Too easy (I guess) to get home from work and chill, but you found your reward by making that effort to run, well done! 😊
Yes it’s great for that, just so easy to think I will then get home and not so that’s my quest for this month just to get out after work even if it’s just 10 minutes
Sometimes I can't get myself to run after work either, but when I do run after work, I mostly feel better for it afterwards. Good idea about the 10 minutes a day.
Yes I feel so relaxed if I get out after work and let go of all the busyness of the place and worrying if i’ve forgotten something Having said that I better put my shoes back on if i sit here reading much longer i won’t make it out
