A river and ruins run

Week 9 of my daughter’s C25K began this morning, running a completely new route for her on the other side of our small market town.

Yesterday afternoon, Mr D-d and I had enjoyed a very pleasant Sunday roast dinner 🥘 🍷 and a glass of wine or three with friends at a local pub. Our run’s route and final destination was to pick up the car we had left in the car park.

Therefore we set off in the opposite direction and ran mostly away from the roads and along quiet pedestrian only footpaths, down to the local pond, out towards the river and the ruins of an old stately home.

What a great start to week 9 for Dabby-dot! 4.8k in the 40 minutes 👍🏼🏃‍♀️✅😀

Sounds like a great Sunday lunch and s rest run on a Monday morning to retrieve the car 😁And love the pictures .

Good luck (not that she needs luck) to Daby on her week 9 !

Wow! I certainly wouldn't be running after a Sunday roast.

It was the morning after nowster, so pretty digested by then, plus I had steered away from a whole pudding and shared my hubby’s 😉.

What a great idea that is. I can go out and get hammered on a Sunday and then run to pick up my car on a Monday. Brilliant.

You are giving me bad thoughts 🤣🤣🤣🤣
