I decided to get up early before it got too hot and went for longest walk of the week, been doing 4 km before work at 8,30am. Lovely and sunny nobody going about so peaceful. Tried a small jog the other day but hip and groin still sore especially hip joint , and just carried on walking instead. Walking doesn’t seem to trouble it too much and it was getting better as well but must be different motion on jogging to walking that aggravates it. Got back and Mr D had porridge and fruit and toast ready, he has been in a while just did 5km run , he’s too quick for me anyway 29mins. Hope u enjoy the rest of your bank holiday, work for me not holiday in Scotland.

Sorry to hear that your hip is still sore Doris8 but it sounds as if you had a good walk! I’m the opposite to you - running seems to be easier on my grumbly hip than walking is! How kind of Mr D to have your brekkie ready for when you got in!

Shame your hip still won't allow you to run but that sounds like a lovely walk, and with brekkie waiting when you got home. Perfect!
