It’s with a big grin and a little sadness that I set out on this run this morning, Willow decided to rest his knees so off I went solo.
The last run of COGH and the end of logging runs and looking to see what everyone else is doing. Thank you to everyone it’s been great to be part of this.
What a lot of tech..... Out the door and press go on my watch, set the HU spring playlist on my phone, start Rungo for the 5k and NRC Head starts 5k, phone securely in back pocket, warm up walk done and off I run,
I do like NRC coach Bennett, he asks what is the purpose of this run? so running, singing and thinking, to complete COGH and to see the sea.
And that’s what I did,
Over the bridge round our original track, down the side of the golf course, across the road and there is the sea, took the selfie, along the path boy it’s hot, turned crossed the road and headed home, just over 3k and I’m tiring, breeze now in my face, nice and cooling, across the grass, back round the lake, round our track, through the little wood, get o the bottom of the railway bridge, 5k reached, shall i run back over the bridge? nah.... walked home and covered 6k all together.
Cup of tea and I really need a bath so see you later 😀
Have a good run if you are and a good rest if you need x

What a lovely photo, it certainly looks a lot warmer than up here, thick mist and rather chilly. Congratulations on your final run, it's been great hasn't it ?
What a happy pic of you, it looks so nice there. COGH has been a lot of fun and so interesting. Hope Willow’s knees recover soon to get back out with you.
What a lovely, smiley photo! I agree, Coach B gets a 👍 from me too, he’s kept me going loads of times. Sounds like a lovely run, hope the bath was nice. 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
What a lovely run for you Sola! It’s sad to be at the end of our marathon trek but hasn’t it been fun to be part of such a lovely group of runny people!
It’s been really great and I’ve so enjoyed being part of it, this forum is such a good place to come, for info advice or just to say well done to someone, and of course to write our running journey
Hey you look really happy and proud AND you're on a beach AND you ran!!! Thats a pretty fab combo in my books! Well done!!. PSI have some similar 'bald' pics but none recently on a beach! 👍
He may come out for a short run tomorrow but that hill was tough on both of us this evening, sometimes we have to remember we are 65 and slow down a bit
