Funny you should say that, yes I think my arms do droop a little..while running yesterday I was aware of this when my I could feel my hands tighten ..so I adjusted the angle upwards and it did seem to relieve it a little..So rings off next run.. adjust my arm swing 👍
My wife Mary had the same issue. Her ring finger swells so much she cannot even remove the ring sometimes. It seems to be connected to humidity for her.
I get this sometimes, mostly when it's hot & humid, so when I run, when I feel them swelling I kind of do a "jazz hands" thing with my hands and then open and shut fists a couple of times. 5-10 seconds max, but it makes a big difference. Also, when I finish I put my arms up for a few seconds and let it drain away - you can disguise it as adjusting your hair and stretching if you're feeling self-conscious ).
I'm laughing here, on my runs I think of advice given on here for posture..chin leading chest.. now I will have jazz hands to add .. thought's.." chin leading chest.. jazz hands... Chin leading chest..jazz hands " 🤣
hahaha, your thoughts are much more organised than mine, mine wander off to weird places - like how much time has to pass before you can no longer add the word "back" in the phrase "I'm going back to bed" - that was a while back now, but I still don't have a definitive answer and it occupies 1km or so
I get this too, mainly when walking, but it does happen when running too. Usually affects only my left hand, not sure why, haven’t been able to correlate it to anything specific. Will watch this space!
Like Kat332zz this is something that happens to me when walking (a lot and especially if at all brisk) and less so when running... one of the attractions of running for me. The different arm movement/position, with the elbows bent so the hands aren't dangling I reckon. I did have a phase in my life when my fingers oozed as well, glad that doesn't happen any more!
