I completed my first 5K around Nov last year and i have been running 5k runs since then trying to improve my speed....now I love the challenge to try a 10K!
I read somewhere that to improve your speed in a 5K its also important to increase your distance. It will be nice to see what happens.
Loving my runs, some are good some not as good but it always seems to make me feel great afterwards
All the best!

Thank you all for all your very valuable advice. I will slow down a lot in my long runs and just enjoy the moment- and go a bit faster in the shortest run. I actually did 6k yesterday (very slowly) and felt great afterwards. I think im going to start in week 2 of the JuJus magic program.
Looking at the program I am not able to achive the 5k in 30 mins yet so i will follow the distance in whatever time it takes, my very best has been 31 mins/5k but mostly 32 mins in a good day!
