Upcoming running dates of interest?

On my calendar, coming up in the next 30 days are:

- In 7 days: EMF 😀👍🏽🏃🏽‍♀️ (just a 5k for me this time, as I’m working my way up again towards 10k but not there yet)

- In 11 days: Global Running Day (I have decided to use this day for doing something related to running that I have never done before! On my list of options is: complete a gym treadmill run 😳; run with a new running app😃; run a new route😋)

- In 30 days: International Yoga day 🧘🏼‍♂️ (Not quite sure yet what I want to happen on that day. Any ideas for suggestions? 💡💡💡)

Anything interesting on your running calendar?

Ooh Global Running Day! Thanks for that one - there’s always an extra Garmin badge that day.

In terms of dates, parkrun’s return in England has just been moved from 5th June to 26th June 😢

Just looked. Is heaton park just a race track? (Am still pondering which real race or Parkrun I’ll choose for my first one)

It's a large park with wide tarmac paths. It has five car parks. manchester.gov.uk/heatonpark

A parkrun is usually held there too. parkrun.org.uk/heaton/

It's slightly hilly.

Looks good. I am thinking of finding some trail Parkruns, as tarmac is not yet my thing. A new pair of shoes might change that! Thanks!

Virtual london vitality 10000 from 29th May until 6th June for me.....not sure what day yet but would be good to do on day majority do it to feel a part!

Did the EMF virtual half last year. Haven't dined up this year as I did the virtual Kilomathon last month. Hoping the Scottish Half happens for real this year in September as it's right on my doorstep.

East Lothian. Starts at Meadowmill (15 miles east on A1), run down to Longniddry then along the coast through Cockenzie, Port Seton and Prestonpans before ending at Musselburgh

Hi on my calendar I have

Virtual vitality 10000 on the 29 th ish but I have a 15k scheduled that week in preparation for the Sunderland hm on 20th June. Coincides with my first runiversary😁
