I'm now lying in the hot tub checking out my Strava when the penny finally drops... I just ran non-stop for 56 mins and 39 secs!!! I can't believe it! I left aiming for 6 or 7k and although I felt like I could've kept going at 8k, I didnt want to risk over doing it. Yes, I kind of wish I had kept running for the additional 2:40 so I'd have hit 60 mins but ...am I really that bothered I missed the 60 mark?... No, not in the slightest as I just ran 8k π and with this knowledge I shall be smiling for the rest of today π Happy weekend folks π

CR22 = 8k trail run and my longest run to date π
Great stuff... and that 60 minutes is going down on your next long run. Sensible to not push on and chase it as itβs coming soon anyway.
Brilliant! Well done. Running these longer runs will become addictive I'm sure!
I was with you in spirit on that one! Although my 8k this morning wasn't a trail run. Doing the Magic Plan and so 9k next weekend will take me over the 60 minutes, not bad for someone who this time last year hadn't run further than the bus stop for 35 years...
Well done you I also completed my first 8k this morning in 55.12 I am now laying on the sofa feeling rather pleased with myself bring on 10k
Great trail runπ

Love this! Brilliant achievement and one of many you will experience. It's great checking all the data too. Glow all weekend now πππ
Brilliant effort for your first 8k, fantastic time too, well done. Happy running π€
