I know I wear odd running shoes, but...

"This runner just ran a 14:47 5000m, wearing Crocs!"

And below JD are straight in there with an ad for Adidlette Clogs! 🙄 I know healthcare workers swear by crocs/clogs when on your feet all day but running! in a race! 😬

Another positive for healthcare settings is that they're easy to clean and disinfect.

I have a pair of Lidl own brand plastic clogs. I'll have to give them a go.

Ooh you must report back - you are braver than me! I only wear mine in the garden.

So, my to do list now includes: do some true barefoot running again, and run a bit in plastic clogs. 😆

Fantastic! I 😍 my Crocs. I have 3 pairs plus one worn out pair relegated to garden clogs. I've never thought of running in them though

Ha, he ran a HM in those shoes in a time of 1.11.15, we would be happy running a 10K in that time with proper running shoes. 😊 🏃🏾

Ditto! That's close to my best 10km time.

Crumbs! I wonder what colour they were!

I think we would need to experiment with different colours to see what is fastest. 🤣

The only runner in the Southsea crew who could get anywhere near that time is UpTheStanley, although I am not sure if he has ran a HM.

Never run in them, used to have a pair for swimming in the sea though as it’s stony but one day they swam off and it took so long to catch them i decided not to bother again

😂

😱well they are quite springy but I would not trust myself to run fast in them!!
