3 months after starting couch to 5k I did my first 10k this morning. Feeling rather proud of myself, when I started I struggled to run for just 1 minute!

Congratulations on a great run!👏👏👏. Did you use Ju-Ju magic plan?
I didn’t use any plan! After graduating I continued to run three times a week doing 5k every time. I did a couple of 6K but that was all. My 5K time kept improving but I decided i would like to improve my running time / distance so thought i would slow down and run for longer.I set out this morning thinking I’d run for around 45mins but I felt really good and because mentally in my head I’d set myself up to run for longer I found I felt fine! I got to 7k and thought it’s go till 8 and then when I got to 8 I really wanted to get to 10 so I just kept going! I think I knew my body could do it but the difference of my mental decision to go for longer made a huge difference as normally when I get to 4K I’m thinking “yes only one to go!”
Well Done post here for your graduation badge healthunlocked.com/bridgeto...

You will need to rest a few days after this. You may have over-done things a little, especially by blasting through the 10% increase per week rule. Just be careful!

Well done. I’m hoping that’ll be me in a few weeks! 7km done so moving forward.
Wow, that's brilliant! I graduated 5 months ago and I'm barely past 6.5k.

Wow that was fast from Couch to 10K! I started C25K last December and graduated in February. Then a month of consolidation before started a 6-week plan to 10K in April. Tomorrow is my D-Day. It took me 5.5 months total. Probably I am too slow.
