I woke up this morning feeling a bit stiff after long hours spent behind the wheel, following a family bereavement, so wasn't expecting too much from today's run. I've been, up till this point, following ju-ju magic plan for distance and I was supposed to have run an 8km today. I've also been trying to run at an easy pace, which for me should be about 7.2min/km according to the run calculator. I have to say running at this pace does enable me to take in much more of my surroundings! I arrived at my 8km mark feeling pretty good so I thought I'd up the pace a bit and go for 9km. At 9km I'm still feeling strong so I just carried on to 10km. At 10km I'm still feeling pretty good but didn't want to bust the 10% rule by any more than I had.
I hope everyone is enjoying their running in this lovely sunny weather.

Excellent run for you today Snail61, I think you should change your username to hare61.
If you want to see the words Graduate10 next to your username leave a message in the pinned posts on the right side of the healthunlocked April Graduate10 homepage and tell the administrators that you have ran your first 10K.
Of course claim your badge, even if a runner runs a 10K in 1 hour 42 minutes they are still entitled to claim a Graduate10 badge, I know a man who can run 10K in 33 minutes, he came second in our last local 10K event in 2019.
Well done I wish I could run a 10 km at what you call your easy pace. Good time today and your pace 6.50m/k great👏👏. As AlMorr replied in previous post you’ll have to change your username . Great times for a 🐌👏👏🎉
