Little over 4K for my first run in 12 days. Thought I was running slow, but actually I am back to late January pace (Feb and March was VERY slow - I should have realised I was more injured/tired than I had thought).

May try 5K on Wednesday to set me up for my longer run on Saturday.

Feeling optimistic now.

Well done, sounds like your body indeed needed a bit of recuperation time. Fingers crossed all's ok now!

Great to hear you’re feeling better. Interested in your observations. I’ve found that occasional breaks (enforced by injury or voluntary) have really improved my runs when I return. I come back stronger. It would be good to find best way to ‘harness’ this without losing the rhythm of a routine.
