Another morning run for me, not as early as the previous run, set my alarm for 6am turned it off and typed up my βTo Do Listβ!!!
I decided not to wear my running shorts today as was going food shopping afterwards and I didnβt want to scare the other shoppers with my white legs!!
I headed up to Clapham Common, walking fast I can just about reach the common or the first running segment of C25K.
Another good run for me, I felt strong. Lots of runners out this morning feels so amazing being one of them. Finding the 5 minute segment very comfortable and feel my pace is picking up. I am already so excited about running again on Wednesday which will be my third run of week four. I canβt tell you how much joy I am feeling at the moment being back out there running.
After my run ππ»ββοΈ I walked around the common to hit my 10k steps. So lovely to see the sunshine I went to Battersea Park in the afternoon, I have walked 30,000 steps today!!
Thatβs amazing, Rebecca! I can almost feel your strength returning across the internet! Well done for persevering πππππππββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπͺπͺπͺπͺ π₯°
Thatβs a lot of steps and in this weather a joy being out, you speak of places I only dream of visiting and never have Good to know you are getting stronger and enjoying running again
Aww Sola once this is all over you should come up to London and we could go for a run in Battersea Park and along the river. Thank you so much and for all your support and kindness xxx
30,000 steps and feeling strong, excited for the next run....so lovely to read that, you are definitely on the road to recovery now Rebecca, well done my early morning running mate, soon be on week 5 πͺπ»πββοΈx
Sounds another nice run, you'll be finishing before you know it, and nice to get those steps done in the sunny weather today π which helped for my girls, 2nd lockdown birthday!I bet battersea park was busy today, especialy with the restrictions lifted a little today.
Hope they had a lovely birthday in the sunshine. My friends birthday was today as well!
Yes it was, the group workouts were back on, I was watching one in passing and the instructors called out and asked if I wanted to join in I politely declined ππ !!
Wow Rebecca, over 25,000 steps yesterday and 30,000 today, amazing and congratulations, yesterday as you know I also did over 25,000 steps but today only around 800, tomorrow and the rest of the week it should be at least 10,000.You say you saw a lot of runners today, that is very good, not so good if a lot of runners pass you, however, I am sure you passed more runners than passed you, only the what we call gazelles would pass you, those are the sub 30/25 minute 5k runners.
That's an amazing step count! πππππͺπͺπͺWell done you are really getting your strength back and well and truly on the road to recovery. So lovely to know that you are enjoying your runs and already looking forward to the next one.
Thank you ever so much Birdlady it feels so good. I still get the weird burning sensations but the fatigue is so much better, I am so thankful. Being able to do some running has really put a spring back in my step.
Wow that absolutely amazing! Going from strength to strength πππππββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ and about to start week 5, how exciting is that πππ
