So today I was intending doing a 5K and decided to do the NRC 5K Run.
My last 3 runs have all been 3.5K as I have had a few gaps in my running and I wanted to pick my run frequency up again steadily.
I feel happy to have done that and today's 5K was not really much of a problem as I kept it at a nice steady pace (almost 5 min slower than my PB of 32 something)
But thats fine , these last few runs have been get back into it sensibly runs π
I will still do the odd shorter run and the occasional longer run again now and hopefully soon looking forward to a more spring like weather π

Hey that's a good run. I like the two 5k runs on NRC, I find them motivational, keep me going when I start to flag. Yes looking forward to the dawn chorus βΊοΈ
I'm also looking forward to it being a little warmer in the early mornings, so that I can do a very quick kit up without having to fuss about over multiple layers, etc. 8-12Β°C at 7am would be ideal, but that's not going to be happening for at least a month.
Hovering around the 5km mark for a bit sounds like a good plan for you. Maybe you can call it re-consolidation?
