After 2 days of waxing woodwork, I decided to go for a run. Warm (for Feb), sunny day, but 4pm by the time I went. For some weird reason, I didn’t like the thought of wearing leggings, so I put my shorts on 😳. Unheard of behaviour for me in Feb, and rather unusual even in summer. But this running lark seems to have improved my circulation. Wish I’d started years ago.
I feel far to over fed to expect running to be easy, so started C25K again, but with a difference. I did run 1 on the outbound, and run 2 on the inbound. Still didn’t manage to keep my heart rate below my mathematically worked out max, but had a super enjoyable run. Walk. Run. And the towpath was, on the whole, dry.

Brilliant to get out in the sunshine Baddie. Good luck with your phased return. You know you can do it and you’ve got all of us rooting for you. I can imagine your tow paths are fairly busy in this weather too.
Not here it wasn’t! I had 2 jumpers on and 2 coats on. Admittedly I wasn’t running today, but it was COLD and the sun didn’t make it through the mist once 🥶☁️☁️☁️
Missed this... sorry...but shorts!! You are brave.. I am repeating Couch again after a blip in October.. but am plodding through it week by Week. Run1 Week 4 this morning

It was short lived (pun intended). Temps have dropped and sun has gone in, so back to many layers, and more walking than running done this week. Keep up your come back 👍Great to hear you’re out there doing it.
