Hiya,
I had last run on Tuesday and then had to take a break due to a multiple day headache. The headache disappeared in the night between yesterday to today, so running shoes on!
Went for my long run as it is weekend, meaning 45 minutes in my plan to get to 60 minutes. The weather was heavenly, a perfect temperature, sun shining, birds singing. Also more people outside which is a bit of a downside, but still doable.
At 42:40 I reached 5 km to my disbelief and turned off my watch, while I kept running until 45 minutes. So I don't know the distance I ran in total, but I wanted to register 5 km. Giving myself a medal for this first 5 km, hihi.
Apparently the disappearance of my headache in combination with the lovely weather did strange things to me, because I ran faster than normal, hence the disbelief at reach 5K in 42 minutes. My average pace was 7 km/h while it is normally 6,4 km/h. Nice and it did not feel all that bad. But I won't aim for this pace in the future. My aim is SLOW 😉
Anyhow very happy the headache is gone and that I had a good run!
Cheers, Evy
