Thank you everyone for your kind words, really appreciate, and helped get through a pretty tough day, I know we all have to go through these things, but doesnt get any easier.

Anyway, this is a running forum, hope some of you have been able to get out today. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

You offered me support Peter and I appreciated that. It’s been a hard day for you today, but it will get easier over time as we both know.....one day at a time ok

Thanks, even when you know it's coming, and sadly, had too much over these last few years, it still hurts so much, but your right, time is a great heeler, and life goes on.Sounds like you had a good run today, so, a welshman in kent 🤔 my wife was from Dover, where we lived for 7 years, and my kids were all born in kent.

It’s very sad and you’ve already had more than your fair share. My mother was old school and used to send me letters, which I keep coming across, which is nice, but makes me feel sad. Still got a lot to sort out re house etc. I take each day as it comes, but I find I’m don’t deal with anything stressful to well at the moment.

Yes I’m originally from Wales, I’ve lived in England for nearly 20 years. When I first came down here my mate said... what you doing down there....who’s looking after the village 😂 nutter

One of my sisters, lived in Newtown, with her family, and both she, and my mum, went to Aberystwyth university. Me and my syblings, were actualy 1/4 welsh, enlish, swedish, and danish, a right mixture!I know what you mean about dealing with stress, i'm not as tolerant, as i used to be, but running is a big help. 🏃‍♂️

Yeah, my tolerance level is pretty low too, which must be part of the grieving process. The running definitely helps 👍

I’m so sorry you are going through this; life can be tough 😢. I’ve received unexpected support on here since I joined in May and my life was spiralling out of control in the middle of lockdown with no-one to turn to. Each day is still a huge effort and I’ve been grateful for every word of kindness that has helped to give me strength to cope. This is so much more than a running forum. Reach out if you need to, support is here - Julia

Just read your reply again, sorry to hear you were finding things so tough, back last year, and glad you found so much help on the forum, i sometimes feel like we're a big family on here.Anyway, life can be prety cruel at times, but we will get through this. ☺

Thanks, Peter. Running helps, too - but you’re right, we are a big family on here. We will get through it, one day at a time 👍

That’s what we’re here for, sometimes it’s easier to talking to folk who aren’t directly involved. I probably talk way way more to folk on here than anyone/everyone else at the moment, nobody else is interested in running 🤣

Support is always here for you Peter running or otherwise - as GH says it's sometimes easier to talk to people outside of your immediate close circle of friends or family.

I’m glad you could share how you feel on here Peter. We are all here if you need us. Like Jools2020 said it’s so much more than a running forum. I’ve found the support on here amazing and when I felt low a couple of weeks back, the kind words you and others gave me was heart warming. It really helped.

Look after yourself. I’m sure you will be in your running trainers before you know it.
