Run 06/02 - 40 minutes

Hiya,

Today it is weekend and thus it was time for my 'long' run. I am slowly working up to running 60 minutes and today was my second time running 40 minutes. Next weekend it will be 45 minutes.

Now I say running and I know I will knock a bunch of people against the head, but I run 'Jeffing', meaning run-walk-run. And I do this with 4:30 running + 0:30 walking. I also use this walking break to give my snotty runny nose a good blow, which I find difficult while running. So no, I know I don't run-run the whole run, but I don't care, they are my runs 😝.

From Canadian geese tooting me on, the sound of war cry yelling men (whatever was that??) over a scary looking Doberman and an itchy cap due to the rain, it was an interesting run. Slow of course, as always, else I'd not be a snail. And I felt as if going a bit fast at times. I really struggle to know how fast to run, how fast my spm is to be, etc. Because of this my run stats are rather eratic or how do you call it? But I had a good run after all. Really happy I was out there ☺

Sounds like a good run, and jeffing is a great way to keep going and keep running, I run until i feel like i’m breathing too hard and if slowing down doesn’t help i walk a bit then run again
