After a few 5, 6, 7 Ks, I decided because of the weather to do some cross training work, which was fun, then I noticed today was the 31st and I had still hadn't done my once a month 10K run. So out I popped and a now back home just managed to get the 10K run in before the weather turns.
ps I felt the cross trainer work was really beneficial up to around 6K but after than it was a bit of a slog but never mind its February tomorrow which means another 10K sometime.
