So I just got back from my longest run yet and I am feeling VERY pleased with myself, EXCEPT I stopped at 15.5K, not realising that another 0.5 would have taken me to ten miles. For some reason I thought it was 17K...still, not too shabby and I saw some lovely crocuses (croci?) coming up, which was a lovely contrast to the cloud/rain/drizzle I was running in!
NOOOOOOOO!! I'm so dumb! : So I just got back... - Bridge to 10K
NOOOOOOOO!! I'm so dumb!
Oh dear its easily done. I stopped at 59 minutes not realising one more minute would have got me a virtual badge. But you did it and that's brilliant congratulations 🎊 You'll do it again and that extra K and then feel the pleasure in achieving such a milestone
Fantastic run! Not too shabby at all ...in fact you should be massively proud of yourself!💪👏👏🙂 10 miles (16.1k) will wait for another day and will be cause for another celebration but in the meantime celebrate 15.5k!!👏🙂
Good run for Lizcanrun, 0.5 short of ten miles, the next time you run you will have completed a full 10 miles run.
Fantastic run whatever the distance!!
For future reference, when you get to it, a half marathon is 21•2 km, not 21. I so nearly made that mistake and would have been really disappointed to find out afterwards.
Keep us posted Lcr 😀
Thanks for the heads up. Can't believe I'm even at the point where I'm considering it!
Brilliant run! 👏👏👏That 10 miler is ready and waiting for you!
And the crocuses (or croci - I think you can use either) are a sure sign that Spring is on it's way - Yay! 😁
Fabulous run Liz! That 10 miles is well withing your grasp. You can run the next one with confidence now. Well done 👍🏼😊👏🏼
Good stuff!! Next time 😊😊😊
What a fantastic run, over 2 hrs running is a massive achievement to celebrate on it's own leaving a 2and celebration for your 10 mile 16.1k. Run when it comes. Happy running 🤗
That is both fantastic and tragic at the same time Never mind - we are all just waiting for that 10 mile victory post - won't be long now. But as Roseabi says - watch out for that additional .09K!!
Wow so close to 10 miles, and that promise of spring too
