Another week in the legs - or should I say 2 runs.... ?? Still incredibly slow but at leaast I extended the run a bit today and ran for 35 mins! π₯³ Was it really just a couple of months ago that I ran 10k? ππ Oh well - it might be slow and ugly but its a run and its progress - so I'll take that!

Haven't ran for two weeks after.my knee flared again. Really painful and keeping me awake at night. Seems to be settling down again now so hopefully I'll get out soon. Like you though my runs are much shorter. The thought of an hour run seems way beyond my ability never mind a 10k. But it is what it is. Keep up the good workπ
Excellent idea. Although actually i maybe just need to get BaddieThePirate to send in the π. If it makes some noise the flamingos will take to the air - i forgot they could just fly away...

Oh, I donβt have flamingoes on my phone emojis, must check on the laptop and see if theyβre there. That explains why all these posts are full of row upon row of question marks in boxes this morning - thatβs what my phone has substituted for flamingoes π€£! Xx
I've got them on my phone along with elephants and giraffes. Oh wait - I'm on my laptop now and I can see them in the built in emojis under the 'reply' bit - but they show up as squares on my laptop. Curious.
Well done Fionamags. And thanks for the flamingos. I have no injury excuse for poorer performance- just haven't been out so much with the cold and ice but I've definitely gone backwards. But I'm sure, like you it will return.
Yes I think we have to focus on the positives as much as we can. We are living in horrible times and it does get at you at times. I felt awful when I stopped running and am in a much more positive head space now - we just need to do what we can with our runs. Keeping on is the main thing, I think?
