Feels good to run my 5ks again

[CBDB]

A nice 5k run to prove I’m back fully from my ice-break over Xmas. Bounce-inducing music, speed-encouraging Zombies, some icy patches to navigate here and there, and the return of the delicious delights of slow runs. In those 5k everything was perfect.

Images are my fairy house route in snow last week, today and back in summer.

Yes. And the mind does play tricks on you, whispering: ‘maybe you weren’t a runner after all’. But once started again, no doubt about it. I just love running and love how it makes me feel!
