Had to cut my run short

Got up today and felt really nauseous. Went out for a 10k run and did 5k instead. The sick feeling got a lot worse as I ran. Ate well been drinking more as its very humid. Today's humidity is 97% according to bbc weather app so that wouldn't have helped either.

Poor you, not like you to not complete a run. Please take care and rest up. Hope the nausea goes soon. 🤗

Sorry about you feeling nauseous today, yes the humidity was very high this morning, I know that as I went my midweek run, that was a combination of week 2 of C25K to help me with interval walks and runs, once that was over with the 90 second runs and the 2 minutes walking breaks, around 2K, I continued running non stop until I completed 5K.

You wisely stopped at 5K and not continued to 10K, I just hope that feeling of sick and nauseous will go very soon and you can get back to running as soon as possible.

Wise move to stop when you didn’t feel well. Hope you feel ok now. Funny, I just posted about the humidity today - I’ve never thought of it in my life ever before!

You poor thing, hope you feel better soon, have a rest and feel better

Oh Buddy 😕, you did well to get out at all feeling like that, let alone managing a 5k.

Rest up. I hope you feel better soon 🤗

Oh dear, hope you feel better soon. Best to stop rather than continue if you are feeling ill

Very impressive managing 5k with nausea, and well done for doing the sensible thing and stopping before you got worse. Feel better soon! 🤗🌷

Hope you're feeling better now, it was horribly humid when I was out at 6, which won't help. We'll done for sticking with it to 5k

Oh bless you. Sounds grim but good on you running that 5km. I think I am going to sit the warm spell out... I get hot when it’s freezing so dread to think how I can run the next few days.... 10pm I think I might stand a chance of getting out.. roll on cooler days for us

If it was just the humidity it would have been fine it was the nausea that was horrible. The thing about running in the heat the more you do it the more your body gets used to it.

I'm the same I get warm even when its freezing 🤣🤣

Oh no, maybe your body was telling you to rest! My run was a struggle today because of humidity, but feeling sick on top of that- poor you!
