Niggle knee

Hello everyone, I need some advice please, I have reached w8r1 with no problems, (no one more surprised than me).

After yesterday's run I noticed pain in my left knee, still sore this morning, only when I bend it, not painful to stand.

Should I rest for a few days?

I haven't posted anything before, but I just also wanted to thank everyone who does, I enjoy reading them and being inspired by you all.

I am 63 and new to this running experience, but loving it, so I am concerned that I don't do anything to spoil it.

Thanks

Hi, I’m not an expert, but I had some knee niggles that got bad when in week 1 run 3 😤of the magic plan.

I took one weeks rest from running, but did some knee strengthening exercises every day (here my favourite one healthunlocked.com/strength... ) and although I know I always had sensitive knees, I have not yet had any niggles that kept me from running since then. (Knock on Wood)

So I now incorporate above knee strengthening workout regularly in my weekly routine.

If you pop over to our Strength and Flexibility sister forum, there are also a number of other knee strengthening workouts listed.

Hope you find a good way forward for you.
