First run with Strava

Hi

I normally use the Adidas Runtastic app when I run as you get points that can give you discounts and I’m a shopaholic 🙈 but I saw some of your lovely Christmas art with strava so thought I’d try it , I don’t k ow much about running apps good or bad , found it ok but didn’t much like the American accent lol sorry , any tips on using it or any other greatly received 😊 added pic took me a while today as I kept stopping and starting (user the bf’s apple air pod thingys didn’t like will stick to good old fashioned over ear headphones 😬

Great run. I just link my garmin watch to strava and it automatically uploads walks, runs, cycles. I dont use any audio on any of my runs so cant advise about that side of things. Hope you have fun with it though. Happy 2021 running 🤗

Same here, I just upload my runs and walks from my Garmin watch to Garmin Connect which automatically uploads it to Strava, I have never listened to the audio and I mostly prefer running without a phone or music.

Hi I run with music from my phone so strava cuts in , I know you can turn off the notifications, I just don’t know which app to actually use to log my runs , whichever I prefer I suppose 🤷‍♀️ I have a Fitbit charge 4 but no garmin watch or equivalent 😊

Hi Tracy. You can link your Fitbit charge 4 to Strava via the Fitbit App. You will find instructions online and on youtube I'm sure. It means then that you can log your runs and walks without even having to take your phone with you.
