My first run of the new year, thought I’d be sensible (ha!) and keep it under 7km today (if mid-C25K me could hear that now 😳). Really enjoyed my run, felt I had more spring in my step so paced it up a bit today and felt fine. Happy with my new faster pace and it suited the shorter distance today. By 5km, I was well into enjoying my run and already thinking hmm..not sure I want to keep this as a short run now but I really cautious not to overdo it and knacker my temperamental knee so stopped just after “Mr Blue Sky” on my playlist (happy memories of C25K runs listening to that, gave me such a boost when it came on today!) and clocked in at 6.4km 👍🏻
Happy new year lovely runners 🥳

Happy New Year- good distance and pace again - you’re going great 👍🏻🦌 I have Mr Blue Sky on my playlist too but it makes me go too fast- my feet try to go with the beat!
My fave running tune 👌🏻 a good run to start the new year too 👍🏻👍🏻 we've had a mass of snow here so not sure if il get out tomorrow yet, hope so 🤞🏻 but will likely keep it around 6-7 k if I do just to be safe.
Thanks 😊 I was pleased to get out and get cracking with 2021 runs. Already done my 5k Strava challenge 💪🏼 Next up is the 10k. Will leave the 100k challenge to you boys! Careful in that snow tomorrow. Hopefully it’s more fun to run in than scary slippery ❄️
Sounds a nice comfortable run ☺ and i know what you mean, just a short 6.4k today then! 🤣 look at us saying that! Good that you kept it to that, i went a bit further, not knowing about work next week, and maybe back to evening runs. 🤔 which will be shorter.
