Run abandoned 😱

All togged up, pumped up, route mentally planned for a 5km two and a half hill run. Test brisk walk to the stores to buy a newspaper.

However, once off the main road, the lanes were far too icy so run abandoned. Our hospitals are already too full without an overgrown daredevil adding to their problems.

I will walk the route later and consider a later run tomorrow.

Oh happy new tier to you too Heavy! Yes I've abandoned outings this week too but managed it this morning, still a bit slippy going down the hill from home. But I needed to do it. I used NRC I need this run. I'm badass! 😃

Good plan. We missed our Wednesday walk this week due to ice but had a nice run this morning before the snow came in after lunch

I walked the route before lunch and a passerby confirmed that the bottom of the first valley had been like an ice rink earlier.

The new plan is to try again later in the morning on Sunday, possibly in trail shoes.

Are we totally mad? 🤨
