Up a bit late today but the sun was shining so off I went. Decided on an old route down towards the railway line. This has a tricky down ward hill followed by that hill on the way back plus a long slow incline in the middle. So a very different route and in hindsight it was too much for me I think. I started to feel an old heel injury after going down the hill but carried on to the long slow incline where I met 2 cyclist who nearly knocked me over slowed to a walk and then ran to the top of the incline and turned round for the homeward run managed to get back to the hill and walked up the hill and then very slowly jogged home with my heel still tender So I’m a bit disappointed but now realise I wasn’t ready for the hills and maybe the slow incline but it’s a lesson learnt and now to rest my heel for a few days and maybe hunt out my heel support again 🤔☹️🤔
Run safely and enjoy now the better weather is finally here. 🤣🤣

Sorry to hear about your run. It’s so hard to know what’s just right and what’s a little too much. I think most of us admins are on similar journeys to you! Really hope a rest and a flatter run next time will sort it out. ❤️
So annoying when an old injury makes itself felt, but you had a run so don't be disappointed, most cyclists are very courteous what a shame those weren't
yes on the whole cyclists are courteous but these were too engrossed in their own conversation I think. I’ve not felt my heel since I got my new shoes so I was a bit surprised it must have been the run downhill which I do find difficult. 😂😂
yes I normally don’t run down hill but this was right at the beginning of the run and I was trying to get my breathing right and I did take it slowly but obviously not slowly enough. 🤣☹️🤣☹️🤣
