It was bright and sunny but temperatures were low and the wind was a bit sharp. Katnap and TailChaser had a map and directions for a run of a about 10k that should create a bit of Strava art. These were unchartered waters as none of us had tried to be Strava artists before. Suitably attired for Christmas Eve we set off from the rather busy and flooded riverside and headed off in the direction of the Welcome Hills. Running up hill is difficult for me at the best of times, but my companions were kind, slowing down so I could walk the steep bits. The downhill bits were fabulous and I enjoyed them. There we also some short pauses to consult the map to make sure we stayed on course. Very soon we were back in the town centre and our run was complete at just under 10k. We grabbed a coffee takeaway and had a look at what we had created. Not bad for a first attempt, even if my hubby said it looked like a dead robin. !

Lovely robin and sounds like a great run. Merry Christmas and happy running 🤗
I love the robins feet! and the beak is definitely singing so not dead at all What a lovely place to run and be together too
Happy Christmas
What a fun run you all had, and I love the themed gear. It’s great that you produced a picture that works both ways up! Have a wonderful Christmas @shake-and-run.
It’s not dead, it’s restin’... one of Katnap’s pals said it was a chicken. Ok the antlers were a bit stubby due to too much mud and I was feeling precious about my trainers 😁 It great fun though!! Thank you for the inspiration, the company and the coffee Shakes! 😍🎄🎄🎅🏻🎄
