Mrs Wife was due to collect her new wheels, the garage got delayed, eventually they delivered it ποΈπ€¨ππ.
Well they did indeed deliver it, then the delivery guy drove her old car away, taking the new car keys with him π€¦..
Family outing for Xmas supplies, more shopping than car space π€£.
Home at last, but ohhhhh the hunger, and a slow cooker well..... It's not the fastest way of feeding the hungry π¬..
So twas a snacky type tea......... Hmmmm.
The hunger alarm went off loudly at a wonderful 6am the calling of weetabix oh the stomach rumbles π.
Mrs Wife long departed for that NHS thing she often does, teenagers sleeping.. am I too old to watch "crackerjack" π€.
Not the same without old Stu-pot π....
At last the teens were stirring, the therapy of a run is needed, didn't know where, how long so it's a go with the flow kinda run day.....
But I did still letting the calf take it easy promise myself not to go off quickly... Let's try π€.
I layered up only because it was a damp cold morning, and I knew if I could keep it slow, I'd also not get so warm, bit of clever thinking there Ian π..
Is it me or do all runners find the spray off the passing HGV's refreshing and invigorating π€£, not that there were too many today, but the timber wagons feeding the wood factory, those boys don't half rattle along on the speed limiter ππ¨π¨π¨.
I was kinda glad to get off the main truck route, and into the village, passing the queue of shoppers waiting to get into the supermarket.
The route I found myself on, I'd ran previously, passing empty patches of industrial land, eventually arriving at my perfectly empty towpath, just me and a π¦, not a soul. I could so clearly hear my footfall crunching the gravel what a sound, and I guessed there'd be no aqueduct visitors, lockdown bonus of sorts π.
Surreal and peaceful sums it up perfectly, quick piccie for you lot who love your heights π€. The only company I had except the π¦was a huge line of crows all perched but, they all departed the Hi-viz runner pretty darn quickly, then leaving the towpath for more timber truck winds, I headed home, wrapping up a nice chilled 10k, calf hmmmm feeling ok.
The
Only mystery is that the heart rate on Mr garmin was an average 173bpm and max of 200bpm I think a setting tweak perhaps....
