Early Christmas present for myself. My Brooks GTS-19’s are screaming for retirement. I bought a pair of Mizuno Wave Inspire running shoes a few months ago. But they did not work out. Awfully uncomfortable and painful to wear. The running shop I had bought them in refused to take them back and they were not cheap. So I decided to hold out until the new Brooks GTS Adrenaline were released. I changed shop and went to a great independent running shop close to where my parents live. I was visiting family and popped in yesterday. I walked out with a brand new pair of Brooks. Just in time to kick off 2021 running season.

Well done Damienair, and a big shout out to independent running shops! We must do our best to use them in these tough times, otherwise we’ll lose them for good!🙂👍
Those are lovely shoes Damien, I am sure you will find them very comfortable to run in, like all new shoes, "run them in" 🏃🏾😊perhaps a short 3K then gradually increase the distance quite quickly.
That’s our Elf on the shelf. His name is Freddy. Our 8 year old looks forward to him visiting. He eats Nutella out of the jar and loads of other bold things.
Brooks adrenaline are a semi support shoe HeavyFoot, they use the brooks guide rail technology, kinda like bumpers on a ten pin bowling alley gts 20 after 500klms in them, they still do a grand job 👍, I started out in the adrenalines
All good information. I started with Brooks Ghost 11s which are neutral before moving to Hoka Aharis. I got the Brooks out again for a run a few weeks ago. They still looked good but the cushioning was pretty shot. However, I need to get a few more months out of my Hokas unless I want to jeopardise my marriage!!
Yikes a simple answer Mrs HF she needs her own pair of trainers 👍, see there you go HeavyFoot marriage guidance and running advice on tap 🤓.
I hadn't a clue what sort of footfall or landing I had until the video gait analysis showed I was striking mainly midfoot with a slight heel strike, and I also albeit slightly needed that mild support. After as I said I started in my still used brooks adrenaline, I watched bits and bobs on running programmes and rightly or wrongly, I was looking for another pair of shoes and the brooks ghost 13's well it was love at first sight 🥰, not known as a support shoe I own a pair, and mix them with the adrenalines, a 2nd pair of brooks launch and my trail shoes so far so good.... I just can't run in those saucepans that I tried and thankfully was able to return....... Pheweeee
A great choice! I've just bought some Brooks GTS-21 too. Also a shout out to local stores. I went to Sportlink in Taverham near Norwich. They did a gait analysis free, let me try on multiple shoes and the price on the Brooks were less than the big internet sites.
I should not have changed shoes. I had Brooks GTS-17's and GTS-19's which I found great. The Mizuno's just did not suit me at all and were actually painful to wear after just 2K. Anyway, lesson learnt, I'll stick with Brooks GTS from now on.
Oooooo nice shoes 😍 Hope they feel as good as they look 👀
Brilliant Damien. I really hope you have lots of enjoyable runs in them. So many people love these and after your last pair I hope they do the business for you 👏👏👏
I ran in them today for the first time. They were very comfortable. Lovely support and cushioning. These are my 3rd pair of Brooks GTS shoes. I’ll stick to them.
