I do most of my runs on the treadmill now due to short days and bad weather. It’s great for building speed as you are in total control of speed. I usually do short runs of 20 mins and vary speed each 5 mins or run 3 or 4 k and vary speed every km. Alternatively I increase my pace by small increments each time. Try the NRC app. They have some treadmill runs on there which increase speed and incline. I do the outdoor runs on the treadmill too. I like 3,2,1 Go which is a 17 min interval run. Find your pace is also good. Hope this helps although it’s more enthusiasm than experience 😂
