Not sure it was worth putting the kit on for this but I did !
I was wanting to have a play with the pre set programs on the treadmill.
Little did I know that they only last for 10 minutes and include sections that are slower than a warm up walk ! Hmm....
I had already decided that I did not want this run to be uploaded to Strava so I turned off synch in Garmin connect before I started and I'm glad I did as it could only be described as Garmin garbage!
To be fair, I realise I'm never going to get accurate watch data when on the treadmill so I will in future leave synch off when using the treadmill and manually update Garmin connect with the treadmill data before sending to Strava.
I'm happy that treadmill data is reasonably accurate.
Going forward I don't think I will use the preset programs, I will just do manual runs either time or distance based and adjust the speed as I go !
I think I'm now due another couple of outside runs π

Haha, yes to both ! πI'm certainly glad I have the treadmill as an alternative but looking forward to getting some decent distances again outside π
But Runn gives the data (close to the treadmill if your treadmill is so correct) through to your Garmin watch, because of which it can be loaded up on Strava immediately without having to do anything manually ππ
What a lovely photo of Misty, she is so cute, that was a nice short run on the treadmill for you, by the way I ran 7K this morning on my way each week to run 10K by the end of the month..
Thanks Ian, as my heel is still slightly sore, especially when I run, I took that 7K run slow and steady with a couple of 1 minute walking breaks, my split 5K time was 38:18, the 7K was completed in a time of 55.20, which is a time that I have run a 8K sometime last year, anyway its not stopped me from running ππΎ, onwards and upwards to 8K next Wednesday.
I've been treadmill running and it's always different to my garmin results. I believe the treadmill but I'm wondering if it's about how fast you move your arms which is what garmin responds to. I experimented moving my arms very fast....and my garmin distance shot up much quicker than the tm??
