As I'm not working today I wanted to get a run in .I had been watching the weather forecast for a couple of days and it wasn't looking good .
Wet and windy is not a combination I like running in .
So having not used my treadmill for a while I decided yesterday that I would do today's run on it .
When I got up this morning it was dull with just a little wind and to be honest it would have been fine for my run but I thought I'd stick to my plans and use my treadmill anyway .
I planned on another 2k without a walking break and that's what I did .
I was never happy with the calibration on the treadmill and have previously used my Garmin on the treadmill setting and calibrated it , but again I was not happy with the accuracy of the calibration.
So I fitted the Runn sensor device from
'North pole engineering'
npe-inc.com/?gclid=Cj0KCQiA...
This in turn has been paired with my watch as a sensor so I just select the normal run setting on my watch and disable GPS
This appears to be really quite accurate when compared to my previous last few outside runs .
So another 2k with no walk break.
I will do another similar run next time before stretching the distance again .
Happy running!
