So last Saturday I did my first 10k, didnt manage to run it all but still completed it. Dont think I've ever felt sick whilst I've been running before lol.
I set out with just a goal to finish 10k and was a battle at times but also wanted to finish in 1h20 or under so although room for improvement, I'm happy with a starting point.
2nd 10k run tomorrow so fingers crossed x

Well done on your 10k 🥳🥳 It is such a great achievement! You kept going and you hit the magic 10. I’m still working my way up.. I’m currently at just over 7km on my runs. How did you get to 10k? Did you build a bit on your runs gradually each time?
Thank you. Tbh I have no real science to my 10k, the furthest I'd ever ran was 5k and that was a while ago.I spoke to a leader for a local running club and he gave me a plan. Then on the Saturday I just woke up and went lol. It was hard, battery died on my phone, windy and felt sick at the end but I did it.
I had also signed up to a virtual 10k and the medal had arrived, so couldn't open that till I had.
Your doing great from what you said and ull be at 10k in no time.
I love a medal so the virtual races are great for my motivation x
