Morning runners! 6am Saturday morning and I was up and out for my 3rd 10k of the week, actually 3rd in a row!
I knew after 1 mile I wasn't going to be breaking any speed records so just settled at and easy pace and chugged along while listening to some podcasts. No coaches or music today.
The run was steady and fairly uneventful, my breathing again didn't feel right and I'm sure I was really loud for the people I was passing π€£ couple of occasions I could really hear the blood pumping in my ear, even over the earpods which were at a good volume. 1 hold up to cross a busy road but apart from that no issues. Weather was cold and wet but nothing major.
After about 5 miles i decided that if it wasn't going to be my fastest run it was going to be my longest run! Set myself a target then of 7miles, just shy of 11.3k. The extra distance didn't really feel any worse, could have probably kept on going but I think that was a good place to end this week's adventure!
3 10ks in a row was my target and I smashed it, very happy π no runs now until Monday morning, not a clue what I'm going to do for that yet π€£
I hope you all have a great day/weekend and hope your runs are smooth and safe ones ππ»

Fantastic effort, great new distance to achieve. Think of your weekly cumulative distances and dont put too much extra distance on, it all mounts up and you want to remain injury free. Happy running π€
Whoop!! Now you are really showing off ππ That is another bloody good run matey, and what a total distance for the week youβve clocked up. You seem to be extending your runs with relative ease. Are you going to let us into your secret?? Youβre going great guns! You are definitely top of the leaderboard of Team Gazelle π¦π¦π¦
I think the secret is actually enjoying it π€£ even when it's a struggle and hurts I still quite like it and on my non run days I'm really looking forward to going the next day π€£ how my body is managing it I'm not quite sure but my mind is certainly willing π I've even been having dreams about running!
I have no idea how we became running people but we seem to have managed it π€£
