Hi all, I finally completed the 5k after 7 months with having runner's knee issue and getting covid. I am now moving on to the 10k. Any apps anyone can suggest?. Still I can't believe I can run for 30 minutes. They're was a time running for 2 would have me keeled over gasping for breath!!!

Well done on getting through all of that. I posed the same question when I started my 10k quest, but in the end settled for following Juju’s plan, which I think will be a pinned post on this page. I ditched my earphones and got all the info I needed from my running watch (which was the cheapest I could find with the functionality I needed). How far I had run, and pace at which I was running, was all I needed, and this provided a basis for adjustment from run to run. Others may have used apps and be able to comment on the benefits. 5k to 10k is definitely easier than 0 to 5k; hope that you enjoy it.👍
The magic plan is great, and if you like having something to listen to as you run, it's worth giving Nike Run club a try - there are loads of different runs to choose from so just download one that's the right time or distance for your stage of the plan. There are also guided intervals for your shorter runs.
