Hi all

Today was my first run in 10 days after resting my painful hip/thigh.

I signed up for the british legion 5k poppy run so felt obliged to run as people had sponsored me

I toddled of slowly this morning on a new route,i felt it was appropriate to take in the 2 local war memorials in our village and the next

40 minutes in my watch stopped recording-it had me down as a training run so stopped😩

I realised after about 5mins and started again-stupid me recorded a 4.31km and a 0.68km with a 5min interlude so about 5.25km. 😩😩😩

Never mind. It was a good cause, I know i ran more than 5k and clocked my fastest mile(the word fast is debatable!)and the leg is good

I am happy and the British legion has benefited 😁

Next year I aim to take in Cleadon ,Whitburn and East Boldon memorials. !!! Hopefully in less time

We can but dream c

Oh well done. You could always add it manually if you plot the right distance and time.

Thats beyond my understanding atm. Honestly for a technical person i am hopeless with technology! Highly specialist dental technician is my job title! But electronic technology and me isnt a good mix🤣

Well done on your Poppy Run Smile23 - it’s such a worthy cause and they need all the funds they can raise at the moment . The tech we use is great but has a tendency to let us down at times but never mind - you did your 5k so cheers all round! Happy running!
