I thought I’d get back to jog run sprint this morning as I’ve let it slide recently. So off I went but wait, who on earth are all these people on my seafront?! 8.30 on a Sunday morning is normally a quiet time but there were cyclists by the score, a gazillion runners, and loads of swimmers too! Don’t they know?! Ah well, there’s room for all of us so welcome! I’d tell you about my JRS but I told Mr Garmin he could discard the details instead of saving them - oops! But it felt ok and at least this time I did the jog element at my usual OGR trotting pace instead of the brisk walk I did last time out! Chatted to a lovely runny couple I’d seen earlier and who were ending their run with a scenic photo, like I was. Then a quick chat with a couple of swimmers and with neighbours and a couple of friends on the way home. This running lark can be very sociable can’t it, even when you run on your own like me! Yes the world comes out running and cycling in lockdown. My park and seafront was packed with people exercising. BTW love the was your horizon slopes must make the run easier. 😁
It does hamit although it was murky this morning so you couldn’t see the Isle of Wight. Either that or someone’s nicked it again!
I’m hoping it will be a bit quieter tomorrow morning when I go out for a gentle jogette Oldgirlruns.
You know If it’s not on garmin it didn’t happen, so you are going to have to do it again next week 🤣🤣

What a lovely run meeting all those people to chat to. I can’t believe there are still people in the sea at this time of year. Such miserable weather hear this weekend that hubby and I have completed our tax returns 🤣🤣 happy running 🤗

The sea at this time of the year isn't all that cold, nevertheless I don't think that you or I would want to go for a swim, that was a nice run for you this morning OGR, good to meet and talk to another runner.

I know ! It was so busy this morning in the local park there were queues for the climbing frames in the children’s playground 😂. It was rowdier than Friday night pub at closing time !!

That sounds great and yes it is sociable, i think we know most of the regular dog walkers in oyr running place, a few other runners and no end of tots on scooters
